Berkshire offers a 5-Year Limited Warranty for all our heated products, regardless of where it was purchased.

If you believe you are experiencing a manufacturing defect for a heated product in this time frame, you can start a claim by following the steps below under "steps to submit a warranty claim for my heated item".

Any physical damage, alterations to the item, consumer misuse, or improper care will void this warranty. Receipt is not required tobe eligible.

1. Register your heated product here to be eligible.  

2.Email customercare@berkshirehomeco.com with a description of your issue, images of the blanket laid out flat, cord in its entirety, and the sewn in label. 

3. Customer care will then review and advise on approval or denial 

4. If approved, you will be emailed instructions on how to destroy your item to receive a one-time refund. 

No, we do not sell or provide replacement cords. If you believe you are experiencing a manufacturing defect, you can file a warranty claim.

We’re sorry you’re experiencing an issue with your item. To initiate a quality claim, please email customercare@berkshirehomeco.com with your order number (if available), a description of the issue, and pictures showing the Berkshire label and defect. We will then work with you to provide a replacement, discount code, or a refund. 

We can only offer refunds on purchases made within 30 days on our website. If the purchase was made more than 30 days prior to the date that you contacted us about the issue, we will only be able to provide a replacement or a code.  

At this time, we cover quality issues only on products that were purchased in the United States and cannot ship replacement products outside of the United States. 

To request a return or exchange, please visit the link to our return portal here. We only accept returns or exchanges within 30 days of purchase. Items must be unused, unwashed, and in their original packaging. Final sale items cannot be returned or exchanged. Please refer to our return policy for full details.

Shipping times vary, but your order will ship from our warehouse on the east coast within 2 days of your purchase. Ground shipping will arrive in 3-7 business days. Two-Day will arrive in 2 business days. Overnight will arrive next business day. Please note transit times indicate time lapsed AFTER the order is fulfilled.

No, we do not ship internationally. We only ship to the United States including US territories and APO/FPO addresses. If you are located outside the US, feel free to browse our Amazon storefront!

Most of our plush and fleece items can be machine washed separately in cold water and tumble dried with NO heat or air/line dried. Laundering with other items or with heat can cause friction or damage to the fibers, leading to matting, pilling, or shedding. For specific care instructions for your item, please refer to the sewn-in care label.

First, detach all controllers. The connector built into the blanket is part of the item itself and cannot be removed. Wash by hand or machine wash using the delicate cycle. Pre-soak for 15 minutes in mild soap andcold water. Machine wash in mild soap andcold wateron slow cycle for 2 minutes. Rinse incold water. To dry, stretch to original size and air/line dry only. Do not dry clean your blanket, use a wringer, cleaning spray, or use an iron on any heated blankets or throws. For the best results, remove your blanket from the washing machine, lay it out, and gently pull it into its original size and shape. To finish drying, drape over two parallel lines to air dry.

Microfleece and VelvetLoft® are knit sheets. Thread count does not apply to knit constructions. Thread count only applies to woven sheets like percale or sateen.
